Jobs at Wixams Academy

Opportunities to join the Wixams Academy team

Welcome to the Wixams Academy job vacancies section. I know that this will be the first port of call for many people interested in working at our Academy. I hope you will find this section useful in deciding to join our dynamic and exciting team.

Wixams Academy opened its doors for the first time to a Year 7 cohort in September 2017. We opened in a brand-new school building on a large ‘campus’ shared with our new ‘partner’ Primary School. I am sure you will agree that the prospects for the pupils, staff and families of these two schools are most exciting. By joining our team you will have the chance to shape this unique educational venture in the vibrant Wixams development, one of the fastest growing communities in our region.

Our mission is to provide the inspiration, challenge and support for all pupils to excel in their schooling and to offer wide opportunities for them to develop the skills, qualities and experience to ensure success and fulfilment for their whole lives.

Starting with a small but experienced and flexible staff team, we will grow rapidly with specialist subject teams and new opportunities emerging each year, until we reach our capacity of 825 pupils across Years 7-13.

We welcome applications from individuals who are well qualified and experienced and have the courage to innovate. Most importantly we are looking for individuals who can help make our vision a reality, to deliver an inspirational, well-rounded education in a child-centred and highly ambitious culture.

I look forward to meeting you soon.
